Historical Documentation

These projects were part of an independent study that I was a part of to illustrate some garments from the historical archive at VCU. I chose some pieces to illustrate including a late 1800s plaid bolero bodice. I loved being able to visualize the skirt that accompanied the bodice. I also went for a 1960s-era plaid jacket. this piece is perfect with a matching dress and immediately evokes scenes from romantic Audrey Hepburn movie.
